Designed to meet the owners’ desire for single-story living, this low-lying, sprawling home takes subtle inspiration from midcentury modern precedents. The vaulted shed roof defines the central living space, bringing in natural light and connecting to outdoor views. An entry courtyard provides a welcoming procession, enhancing the sense of arrival and reinforcing the home’s connection to the landscape. The plan separates public and private zones, with an open living, dining, and kitchen area at the core and a private wing housing the bedrooms, offering both comfort and separation.
