NARRAGANSETT
Perched up on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, our Narragansett project blends historic New England forms with contemporary detailing. Inspired by Rhode Island’s historic stone-enders - early colonial homes defined by their massive end chimneys - the design is anchored by stone volumes paired with gabled wood clad structures. Traditional forms are refined with contemporary detailing and clean lines.
At the heart of the home a vaulted central volume serves as the main public space for cooking, dining, and gathering. Expansive glass opens this zone to the landscape, creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection. Two flanking wings offer privacy and retreat - one for the primary suite, and the other for guests - linked by a transparent corridor that emphasizes views and reinforces the separation of program.
